The first time I attempted to cut glass, it broke. The second time I tried, it broke, but the third time I cut glass, I cut myself then it broke. After that it was smooth sailing. I was honored to work at Palace Glass Co. and was taught by master glass artist Harold Tompkin. He showed me not only how to create with glass but also how to say no the first time around. If it is not what you truly envisioned try another color, texture or even a new idea. His attention to detail is truly inspirational. I will sporatically always do glass art when the feelings right, and thank Harry for an amazing oportunity to try this artistic vein.
